The story of Tamara follows two little girls, Tam and Ara, who have just met in the woods. Shortly after their first encounter, the girls happen to dash through a heavy rainstorm together, and from there, the unexpected journey begins. The land where they arrived after the stormy rain belongs to a different dimension of the world, and the clock ticks differently for each girl. Tam rapidly grows old in contrast to Ara, who remains the same. They desperately search for a way out to return home while encountering mysterious creatures such as grass birds and the enigmatic figure, Cito. With Cito’s help, Tam and Ara eventually reach the Moon Palace, where the king of the land possesses the magical power to open the pathway back to the girls’ homeland.
